Learning resources
Lectures, laboratory classes and tutorials form a large part of the academic program, where team- work as well an individual effort is encouraged. The school offers extensive learning resources to support classroom teaching programs including laboratories. Departments offer special facilities related to their discipline.

Library
The libraries in the junior and the senior block have a vast collection of books on almost all disciplines. They are continuously replenished with the latest books and journals for study, Project work and new insights. The school have 10 no. of Periodicals, 5 no. of Dailies, 600+ Reference books class-wise, 15 no. of magazine (per month) and other 3000+ books.

Fitness for all
T.S.S. conducts regulars P.T. classes with the help of a trained physical Trainer that help a student to build character, greater confidence, leadership and mental stamina to take on challenges in the right spirit.

T.S.S. Organizes Annual Sports Meet every year where various events are played and pupil are encouraged by giving prizes. Other than this Sports and games take place in the school on a regular basis where the students play both indoor and outdoor games.

They widen the horizons of their mind, ennoble their thoughts and keep their creative faculties alive. All festivals and special occasions are celebrated with equal verve. Our Annual Cultural Fiestas are mega events, acclaimed by the press, art connoisseurs and critics alike.

Yearly medical checkup is conducted by the renowned doctors of the locality that ensures the student’s physical & mental fitness.
House System
The students of T.S.S. are divided into four houses Subash Gandhi, Bhagat, Vivekananda. This is done to inculcate in students the spirit of emulation and competition, which calls forth the highest efforts and loyalties.
General Rules
• Every pupil must possess a school diary & this should be brought to school daily, it should be checked by the parents/guardians regularly.
• To acquire greater facility with the study of English & to acquire proficiency in English, English and only English is permissible within the school premises.
• The reason for leave of absence must be entered by the guardians in the leave of absence diary. But leave of absence for more than three days should be applied for separately to the Principal though Class Teacher.
• A pupil who has been absent from class for more than three days may attend class only after leave of absence has been granted by the Principal in the leave absence record. No late comer shall be allowed to attend the school on any pretext.
• During break-time, pupil shall not be allowed to go out of the school premises.
• Pupils who don’t have at least 75% attendance may not be allowed to appear in the examination
• Books, Newspapers, Periodicals, Comics etc of an objectionable or distracting nature shall not be brought into the school premises. If found, these will be confiscated and the students will be punished.
• Students are advised to use their home address for all mails directed to them. The Principal reserves the right to open the mail of pupils who use the school address. Letters addressed to pupils with the school address may not be delivered
• Any damage done to school building or furniture by the student shall be made good by the parents/legal guardians of the pupil concerned. The decision if the Principal regarding the compensation to be paid shall be final.
• Smoking, chewing of open tobacco in and outside the school premises are strictly prohibited.
• Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school without the permission of the Principal
• No student will be granted leave after certain periods. In case of emergency, the school will notify the guardian.
• Stealing and forging signature are serious faults and those found guilty are liable even severe punishment even if it takes place off the school premises.
• Strict silence and great reverence are expected from the students during assembly, prayer time and singing. A very serious view will be taken in case of any such misbehavior at those moments.
• Students should not go out of class within school hour when the teacher is not in the Class Room.
Parents/Guardians are requested to
• Go through the diary daily and carefully.
• Please see that the student learn his/her lesson, does home work regularly and encourage them to participate in the various activities of the school.
• Please take action on various circular and letters sent and attend the school when requested for in the interest of the student and school.
• Please see that the students come to school with full uniform and maintain proper neatness along with their study materials.
Admission and Withdrawal
• New admissions are made to Nursery and other admission if any, depends on the availability of seats and on the competence of the students.
• New applicants will be placed in the class they are found fit for.
• Parents and guardians cannot dictate to the school authorities as the authorities have the right to say on what condition they will admit or retain the pupils in the institution. Please take action on various circular and letters sent and attend the school when requested for in the interest of the student and school.
• School fees cover twelve calendar months and it shall be paid before the 15th of every month.
• The school fees and other dues likely to be revised at any time.
• Pupils joining or leaving the school during any term will have to pay all the fees.
• Only parents/legal guardian may apply for the transfer certificate at least 15 days earlier.
• No pupil whose fees are in arrears upto a term will be given a transfer certificate. T.C. required after the new session starts will be issued only on payment of full tuition fees for the academic year.
• No pupil will fail in two consecutive years in the same class shall be allowed to continue his studies in the school.
